Her Story
Rachel is the principal at her law firm, The Law Office of Rachel Pearl Jacobs, P.C. Rachel was born and raised in Chantilly, Virginia. In high school, Rachel was a two-sport varsity athlete all four years and received the humanitarian award her freshman year. Rachel attended George Mason University for two years and was a member of the Co-ed Cheerleading team. She then transferred and attended Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky, where she was a member of the All-Girl Cheerleading team. While at Morehead, Rachel joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and was President of the Eta Rho Chapter. Rachel graduated from Morehead, Cum Laude, with a degree in Philosophy.
Rachel then attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she served on the executive board of the Black Law Student Association and was an Inaugural Fellow and co-founder of the Loyola Anti-Racism Center (LARC). Rachel specializes in Civil Rights cases involving Excessive Force and Police Misconduct, Juvenile Hall Abuse, Sexual Abuse, and Post-Conviction cases involving Constitutional violations. Rachel is a member of the National Police Accountability Project.
Rachel is passionate about advocating for individuals whose rights have been violated and is committed to pursuing justice on behalf of her clients. Through compassionate representation and dedicated advocacy, she works tirelessly to hold institutions accountable and to ensure that every client receives the respect, dignity, and legal protection they deserve. Her commitment to civil rights and constitutional justice continues to drive her practice and her efforts to create meaningful change in the communities she serves.
